Jun Guo is an Australian Postdoctoral Fellow in the Networks Research Group, School of Computer Science and Engineering, The University of New South Wales, Australia. He was previously with the ARC Special Research Centre for Ultra-Broadband Information Networks (CUBIN), Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The University of Melbourne, Australia, where he obtained his PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 2007. During 2003 and 2004, he held visiting research assistant positions in the Department of Electronic Engineering, City University of Hong Kong. He has broad research interests in computer networking, telecommunications, operations research. His current research focuses on cross-layer design in multi-hop wireless networks, live Internet broadcast of streaming video, performance analysis for overflow loss systems.
