For those who wonder, I look like that:
My résumé is available here.
PC Member of PLAN-X 2009.
My Erdős number is 4: (Giuseppe Castagna)→(Giuseppe Longo)→(Imre Csiszár)
Finally some news. I am now doing a post-doc as a level 3 researcher (whatever that is) under the supervision of Sebastian Maneth at NICTA in the Neville Roach Laboratory in Kensington, near Sydney. Everything is pretty much awesome, my interests are (still) XML processing, transducers/iterators/automata and typing.
Done! I'm officially a Doctor in Computer Science of University Paris-Sud 11. Here is a copy of my Ph.D. dissertation. The slides I made for my defense are here. Some nice pictures, courtesy of Sylvain Lebresne are available here (picasa album).
I presented type projector at VLDB 2006. I think this is one of the best conference I will ever see (in terms of organisation). The presentation went smoothly, here are the slides. Here are some pictures.
A joint work with Véronique Benzaken, Giuseppe Castagna and Dario Colazzo has been accepted at VLDB 2006. The implementation is available here. It's in a bad shape... don't hesitate to contact me if you want to play with it around a bit...
Our work on Chromatic Polynomials of graphs has been accepted at WG 2005.
Whoo. Not updated in a while... I'm still hacking CDuce to integrate my filter algebra. I'm quite done but it's still hackish... In the meantime I've some work on Chromatic Polynomials of graphs. This is a joint work with Pascal Berthomé and Sylvain Lebresne. The gzipped postscript is available here. On a side note this "public" page is a bit messy. I should split it in two with publications and a "blog" thing on separate page.
I'm now a Ph.D student, co-advised by Véronique Benzaken, Giuseppe Castagna and Alain Frisch . A copy of my master's thesis (in french), or more precisely of my Mémoire de DEA, is available here (either in gzipped postscript and PDF format). I'm working on an english version.
I'm a graduate CS (Computer Science) student, in France, at Université Paris Sud . I'm finishing my DEA with an internship at l'Ecole Normale Supérieure . I'm working in the CDuce Team, under the direction of Giuseppe Castagna.
I'm currently working on extending the pattern algebra of CDuce, to allow in depth matching of (xml) trees. More to come soon, stay tuned.
