Police say the suspect, Peter Odighizuma, opened fire at Appalachian School of Law, killing a dean, a professor and a student. He had flunked out last year, had been allowed to return and was at the school Wednesday to talk to the dean about his second dismissal. Witnesses say after shooting the dean, Odighizuma fired into a crowd of students.</span></p> <p><span class="normal">Mr. JOHN HARRIS (Witness): I ran. I got out because I&#8211;I could&#8211;can&#8217;t do anything. The guy has a pistol. What do you do? So you run. So I ran out the door and ran to the library, told people that he has a gun, that they would&#8211;should probably leave.</span></p> <p><span class="normal">CHEN: </span><span class="tackle">Other students tackled the gunman.</span><span class="normal"> Officials say he had a history of mental instability.</span></p> <p><span class="normal"></span></p>
