Syren is a shipboard version of augmented audio reality allowing passengers to link the multichannel surround sound experience on board with the visual experience of the surroundings. Syren was originally deployed for a passenger cruise ship on the Baltic Sea at the International Symposium on Electronic Arts (ISEA) in August 2004. A further developed version called Syren for Port Jackson was run over three days in March 2006 in conjunction with the conference New Constellations: Art, Science and Society at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney.

Virtual Wall is an augmented audio reality artwork proposed for the Mitte in Berlin. It will trace the physical course of the (now absent) Berlin Wall and will inhabit the space with a complex location sensitive 3D soundscape of historical material, fictional audio narratives, music and ambient effects.
