Dr. Amin Beheshti is an Adjunct Lecturer, School of Computer Science and Engineering, UNSW Sydney AND a Lecturer in Data Science, Department of Computing, Macquarie University.

Amin did his PhD and Postdoc in Computer Science and Engineering under supervision of Prof. Benatallah and Dr. Motahari in UNSW Sydney. He also holds a Master and Bachelor in Computer Science both with First Honors. In addition to his contribution to the teaching activity, Amin extensively contributed to research projects at Service Oriented Computing Research Group, UNSW Australia; where he was the R&D Team Lead and Key Researcher in the Case Walls & Data Curation Foundry (D2D.CRC) Project (2015-2017); and the key researcher in the Big Data for Intelligence project (2012-2014). Amin has built an international profile for research excellence and industrial innovation. He has been recognized as a high quality researcher in Big-Data/Data/Process Analytics by many high profile researchers in HP Lab, IBM research, and many good universities. He has been invited to serve and served as General-Chair, PC-Chair, Organaization-Chair and program committee member of top international conferences such as Australasian Symposium on Service Research and Innovation (ASSRI), Business Process Management Conference (BPM) and Enterprise Computing Conference (EDOC); and journals such as Information System (elsevier), Transactions on Services Computing (IEEE) and Transactions on the Web (ACM). He is the leading author of "Process Analytics" Book, co-authored with high profile researchers in UNSW and IBM research, recently published by Springer.
