• Download the ns-2 anycast implementation. Our implementation uses ns-2.27.
  
• Installation steps: Take the following steps to add anycast to your ns-2.27 installation
  • Download, unzip and add anycastFiles.tgz to your ns-allinone/ns-2.27/diffusion3/filters/ directory.
  • Download patch to your ns-allinone/ns-2.27 directory.
  • Apply the anycast patch by issuing the following command
    ns-2.27% patch < patch
  • Re-configure and re-make ns.
