Falling on hard times
After giving them all of my spare change these two friendly guys let me take a photo of them. The cat was lovely too.
There are a lot of homeless people in Vancouver. I wondered why this was; I'd heard that the social security system was really rather good here. It turns out that because Canada is just so god damn cold they are forced to move to the warmest climes they can find (without actually crossing the border and losing their right to social security) during the winter months.
