Description

This is a fork of the JOE editor originally created by Joseph H. Allen. I have added support for colour terminals, ANSI C prototypes and /dev/ptmx under GLIBC 2.1. The work was sponsored by Steve Lamb via the Free Software Bazaar. Based on joe 2.8-15 as distributed by Debian. Note that the stulocal package name is 'colourjoe', not 'colorjoe', for good reason. The colourjoe package has the same executable name as joe, but with a 'c' prepended in front; for example, colourjoe's version of 'joe' is 'cjoe', and colourjoe's version of 'jmacs' and 'jpico' are 'cjmacs' and 'jpico'. If you're a frequent joe user, perhaps it would be a good idea to set up a shell alias, such as 'alias joe=cjoe'.
