I managed to submit my PhD thesis finally. I am a senior research associate at cse working on a sensornet project funded by Defense Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) now. We are looking for good undergraduates to join us in this emerging area. Please drop me a line if you are interested in doing an honours project on Wireless Sensor Networks or Wireless Mesh Networks. We will granrantee you to have an exciting and challenging project.

Topics range from rewriting part of the Open Source TinyOS operating system , in particular, the whole communication stack, to designing and implementing novel and interesting applications with these ``toys'' (sky is the limit :-).

I am a Ph.D candidate at School of Computer Science and Engineering, The University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. and also working on Network Pervasive Computing program, National ICT Australia. I am a member of Network Research Lab and SENSAR (Sensor Application Research) group. My current research focuses on the area of wireless sensor networks, or more precisely, hybrid sensor networks. My work includes investigating efficient communication paradigm for hybrid sensor networks, analyzing the performance of hybrid sensor networks, and designing novel hybrid sensor network applications.
