Professor Ian Gorton
Professor Gorton is a Senior Principal Researcher in NICTA’s Empirical Software Engineering (ESE) research program. He leads ESE’s research and development activities in the areas of software architectures and component and middleware technologies.

His research interests include software architectures, including description and empirical evaluation; novel component and middleware technologies for data integration and access; and performance prediction of component-based applications.

Dr. Yan (Jenny) Liu
Dr Yan Liu is a researcher in NICTA’s Empirical Software Engineering (ESE) research program.

Her research interests include software performance engineering on component-based systems, empirical evaluation of software performance, and service oritented architecture quality.

Mr Muhammad Ali Babar
Mr Ali Babar is a doctoral student at the University of New South Wales, School of Computer Science and Engineering. His thesis topic is [to do by Muhammad]

Mr Ali Babar's research interests include supporting management decisions for software architecture evaluation; approaches to empirically evaluate software development techniques and tools; tools and techniques to support architecture design and evaluation process; linking architectural decisions to organisational business strategies and software needs; and collaborative technologies to support concurrent software engineering.

Mr Liming Zhu
Mr Zhu is a doctoral student at the University of New South Wales, School of Computer Science and Engineering. His thesis topic is Scenario-based Software Architecture Evaluation for Framework-based Systems.

Mr Zhu's research interests include software architecture evaluation, architecture styles and design patterns; component-based software engineering and middleware; empirical software engineering; application framework, software reuse and software product line; and, software process improvement, project management and agile methods.

Mr Nihar Trivedi Mr Trivedi is a doctoral student at the University of Sydney, School of Information Technologies. His thesis topics is on Extensible Architectures for Adaptive Middleware Platforms.

Mr Tariq Al-Naeem
Mr Al-Naeem is a doctoral student at the University of New South Wales,School of Computer Science and Engineering. His thesis topic is Quality-Driven Architectural Design of Enterprise Applications.
