Professor Ian Gorton Professor Gorton is a Senior Principal Researcher in NICTA’s Empirical Software Engineering (ESE) research program. He leads ESE’s research and development activities in the areas of software architectures and component and middleware technologies. His research interests include software architectures, including description and empirical evaluation; novel component and middleware technologies for data integration and access; and performance prediction of component-based applications. Dr. Yan (Jenny) Liu
