Thanks to Trevor Hampel for the tip on locating Cape Barren Goose. We
checked the road between Wellington and Langhorne Creek yesterday the
first. About 15 km West of Wellington is a farm with fields irrigated with
a center pivot sprinkler. The Geese were in that field just west of the
farm house and in the field across the road from it. We counted at least
115 birds. Quite a nice show!
