Hi Chris
You're obviously new to this caper. Birding-Aus often gets stuck on an issue
for a few days - even a couple of weeks - but that usually passes. They're
called "threads" in Internet jargon. I can almost guarantee you that the
Twitchathon will be a completely dead issue until about September next year
after this little thread dies down over the next few days. After all, it is
still less than a week since the actual event took place! ... and I don't
believe there's any malice in the friendly banter that has been taking place.
Good luck with the mallee malurids! I'm off to Gunbower Island on Monday -
hope this rain stops soon.
Cheers -- Lawrie
