Dead Crakes

PS Looks like there are a few of us who only had dead crakes on our lists (not 
really "ticked" of course) for some time.  My first two Spotless Crakes both 
died as a result of sudden impact with my car wing-mirror - on the same stretch 
of road, at night, a couple of years apart!  The second one smashed the mirror 
which I suppose evened up the score a little.

Some of you will know the spot - "Three Mile Lane", the straight stretch of the 
Mt Lindesay Highway immediately south of Beaudesert, Qld.  I can't recall 
seeing live Spotless Crakes in Qld yet!
