There is a beautiful camping ground down near Glen Davis on the quieter side
of Wollemi NP (quieter compared to Newnes). It's about 3-4 hours west of
Sydney, not the Blue Mountains, so not sure if it's as far inland as you're
hoping to get though.

There is good flat ground and a shallow stream running through (that Evan
and I spent about 12 hours straight sitting in one hot December day).

It's blissful.

If you'd like more details let me know and I'll get more specific.

Alistair
