If anyone is at Western Lagoons in the next day or two and finds a FitBit
One (small digital pedometer about 5 x 1cm) please let me know. I think I
dropped mine there late today, either at the gate, or at the turnaround
overlooking Pond 4/5.

I made a quick visit close to sunset and only visited Ponds 4/5 where the
light was great for one side and not ideal for the other where most of the
waders were! There was a White-bellied Sea-Eagle beside Pond 3 - a subadult
(?? i.e. a 4-5 yo bird) and lots of Swamp Harriers battling the wind. It's
a magical place even without the stunning rarities that have been showing
here for most of the summer.
