A last-minute on opportunity has arisen for one person to join our 12-day
Nine Grasswren tour commencing 1 August this year.
This is one of Australia’s epic birding adventures, where we look for 9 of
Australia’s 13–odd species of Grasswren: Kalkadoon, Carpentarian, Rusty,
Eyrean, Grey, Western, Short-tailed, Thick-billed and Striated Grasswren.
We have a good chance of other sought-after birds like Banded Whiteface,
Chestnut and Cinnamon Quail-thrush, Gibberbird, Yellow Chat, Inland
Dotterel, Flock Bronzewing, Spinifex Pigeon, Painted Finch and even the
enigmatic Grey Falcon. The trip starts in Adelaide and traverses the
outback to finish in Mount Isa.
