I also have a recording of a puzzling call on my phone - a bit like something between little pied cormorant (but only one short call, not several calls in succession) and black bittern (but not quite the right tone), calling both day and night either from the creek bed or up the hill behind it.

I’ve taken a recording, then look for the “share” sign with the little upward arrow (I have an iPhone, may be different on other) and sent it to myself on Facebook Messenger. I must now get around to actually posting it on a bird id site, and see if I have any luck

Cheers

Ronda

Hi all,

I have  a recording of a bird call I would like help with identification.

I have recorded on the 'voice memo' app on my iPhone.

Can anyone provide instructions about how to take that recording off my
iPhone and into a format that I can send as an email attachment to this
group?

TIA

paul
