  1. Accreditation follow-up:
    1. Report of subcommittee to revise CS degree to provide professional issues and ethics, and management material - accepted with minor corrections.

    2. Should a strict software engineering process be followed in SENG4910 (with report) / SENG4911? What about COMP4910/1? What about CS honours projects? What about BINF4910/1?
      General reaction was that in general this should not be insisted on. Situation to be reviewed on receipt of detailed comments from IEAust in their full accreditation report.

  2. Subjects to run in 2002: (draft here is now updated N.B. Chu/Rita).
    1. COMP9024 in summer session? - can't find a lecturer
    2. COMP2041 in both sessions? - yes
    3. Confirmation that COMP3720 will run in first session (only) and COMP4920 in second session (only) - confirmed

  3. New course proposal: Advanced Functional Programming approved - to alternate with COMP9243

  4. Policy on weighting given to multiple choice exam setting in allocation of examination marking duties. The TC agreed to draft a School policy on this and now recalls that it asked Albert and Ross to look into it

  5. Status of BE Computer Engineering MCom degree was described Meeting with Elec planned.

  6. Tutor of the year award approved

  7. Refinement of Plagiarism Policy following School Meeting.
    No progress - issue referred to HoS

  8. Allocation for summer session courses. Arun to approach Jesse to find out if he can teach COMP9517 in summer session. Still looking for someone to teach COMP1021/9021.
