Robot Soccer

RoboCup is an international robot soccer competition whose aim is to encourage advanced research in mobile robots. There are four different leagues for different types of robots. One of the leagues is the four-legged league.

The UNSW team has participated in the four-legged league since 1999 with a very distinguished record. I was the team leader from 1999 to 2003. From 2003 to 2006 NICTA was sponsored of the team. Will Uther, from NICTA, was the team leader from 2004 to 2006.

The team is taking a rest in 2007 in anticipation of a new platform for 2008.
