ENGG1811 Sample Final Exam (24T1)
Exam Conditions
- All students must take an in-person exam at the CSE labs, and they must do so
by signing into their Exam account, which provides a similar environment to
their CSE account, at a computer in the CSE labs. They are not permitted to take the exam on their own device.
- Please refer to the lab from week 10 for information on the exam environment,
including how to submit files and access available resources during the exam.
Exam Structure
- There are 5 questions on this exam. Answer all questions.
- Total mark of questions on this exam is 100.
- Questions are NOT worth equal marks.
- This examination is worth 40% of the overall assessment for this course.
Please note that the topics covered in
the final exam may be different to the topics covered in this sample
exam. Also, the marks distribution across topics may also vary.
Marking
- No marks are awarded for style - but use reasonable formatting so the marker can read your answer.
- No marks are awarded for commenting - but you can leave comments for the marker.
- Passing autotests does not guarantee marks. Your code will be run on tests you haven't seen - do your own testing.
- Failing autotests does not prevent marks - a human marker will read your code and give marks based on how much of the problem you have solved.
Fit to sit rule
Summary of the UNSW Fit to sit rule: If you attend the exam, you cannot apply for special consideration afterwards. If you fall ill during the exam and cannot continue, you should: (1) inform the staff; (2) get a medical certificate; and (3) submit a special consideration.
