On-Line Survey 2004

LiC Comments

Many thanks to all students who took the time to answer the course survey.

The results mostly speak for themselves. The course seems to be in good shape, and specific suggestions for improvements will be taken into account at the next offering.

One comment that was consistently made was that the co-requisite of Computer Architecture was not useful. People who thought doing Computer Architecture beforehand would be useful were apparently those who did not do it at all, so (like me) they probably expected too much benefit from that course.

As a consequence I have removed the Computer Architecture co-requisite completely as of 2005.
